I recently watched a video with Rosa Roberts
on “Abstracting What You See”.
It inspired me to get out some new materials
and do some experimenting.
This is what I’ve come up with so far.
Can’t wait to see what’s next.
I used 8 x 10 sheets of cardboard and attached
random shapes of cut up cardboard.
Then I used acrylic paint to create a layer
of color to “inspire” me.
That’s when I realized I NEED to have a subject
or a reference to jump off with.
I chose elements of nature……
I'll keep you posted as this moves forward.
Going to try some pastels, markers, crayons, etc.
Who knows? For now, it’s just fun to play.
