Missing in Action

I had a knee replacement in mid-July, and all was healing nicely,
until one day in August, I woke up and my whole knee was
infected at the incision.
After another surgery and two more visits to the hospital
I’m still using a walker, but I'm finally beginning to
recover a little bit each day.
I have mainly missed spending time in my second-floor
studio in our barn!

So, I did this quick watercolor sketch of the view
from my “recovery” room
(on the first floor of our house.)
It’s amazing how much you miss your everyday activities
when you are disabled and can’t get around.
I’m so looking forward to being “normal” again.
I’ll be back soon!
