The other day the clouds broke
just as the sun was setting
and that intense late winter light
lit up the houses on the beach.

I was taken by the high contrast of the
bright orange/yellows and deep dark blues,
(and didn’t even have to exaggerate it!)
The light at the beach this season
has been spectacular.
It’s truly a gift.
